Governance Champion

Awarding a risk, legal or compliance leader who has strengthened governance, compliance, and cybersecurity frameworks in an increasingly digital world. 

Digital Transformation Champion

Recognising a Chief Digital Officer or Chief Transformation Officer who has led enterprise-wide digital initiatives, delivering measurable impact and long-term business value.

 

Who Judges the Awards?

Finalists in each category are chosen by the Digital Nation and iTnews award-winning editorial team. Event sponsors have no involvement whatsoever in the judging process.

The finalists are judged on the following criteria:

1. Strategic Vision and Leadership

  • Clear articulation of a digital transformation vision aligned with business objectives.
  • Demonstrated leadership in driving cultural and organisational change.
  • Ability to inspire cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

2. Innovation and Execution

3. Business Impact and Measurable Outcomes

  • Tangible improvements in efficiency, customer experience, employee engagement, financial performance, or risk management.
  • Data-driven evidence of success, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and ROI.
  • Long-term sustainability and scalability of the transformation efforts.

4. Collaboration with IT and Technology Teams

  • Effective partnership with CIOs, CTOs, and IT departments to align digital strategies with technical capabilities.

  • Advocacy for IT investments that drive business innovation and agility.
